Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board is a nodal agency established with the purpose of planning, promotion, coordination, and overseeing the implementation of established environmental programs. Its foundation has been laid about three decades back at the national level to protect and prevent the environment from harmful impacts of rapidly expanding industrial society.
