Real estate agents and brokers caught facilitating sales of unregistered transactions may accumulate fines of up to ₹10,000 per day, aggregating to a maximum of 5% of the property's cost.
Is there a possibility to get an extension of RERA registration?
Yes, There is provision for extending registration for one year due to natural causes such as floods, droughts, or fires or as a consequence of war.
Can RERA registration get canceled?
Yes, RERA shall de-register a developer if found violating the provisions of the Act, the rules thereof, or the terms or conditions on which registration was granted or he/she is indulging in unfair practice.
